Police are treating the death of a man, who was found dead on an east-end apartment balcony early Friday morning, as a homicide.
The man was found on the second floor balcony of a Scarborough apartment building at 65 Greencrest Circuit in the Markham Road and Lawrence Avenue East area.
According to Toronto Police Det. Sgt. Frank Skubic, several residents in the building and surrounding area notified police of a disturbance shortly before 2:30 a.m.
Evidence of trauma was found on the victim’s body, Skubic told CP24.
Police say they are in the process of interviewing people who were on the scene at the time but are experiencing language barriers.
Skubic told CP24’s Cam Woolley in an interview that a woman was taken from the scene but no further details were given.
