Toronto police have identified a suspect sought in connection with an early-morning shooting at a restaurant in Scarborough on Boxing Day.
Police say that around 4 a.m. a 31-year-old man walked into Scarborough Hospital’s Birchmont Road location with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was shot at a restaurant in the Finch and Midland avenues area approximately 30 minutes earlier, police say.
As a result of the subsequent investigation, police identified a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting.
Rong Chun Wu is wanted for attempted murder.
Police consider Wu armed and dangerous and say he should not be approached if spotted.
