Toronto police have released security camera images of a man suspected of pushing a commuter onto the tracks at a TTC subway station on Wednesday morning.
The 46-year-old male victim was standing on the platform at the College station at about 6 a.m. when he was shoved by another man onto the tracks below, police said.
The victim was able to climb back up to the platform safely before the train arrived and was not injured.
The suspect ran off and was last seen in the Yonge and College Streets area. He is described as:
- White
- Between 30 and 40 years old
- 5-foot-9
- About 170 pounds
- Short brown/grey hair
- He was wearing grey polyester pants, white running shoes and was carrying a black garbage bag
