Border guards at Pearson International Airport seized $19 million worth of cocaine in two separate drug seizures last month.
In a news release issued Friday, Canada Border Services Agency says officers seized a total of about 150 kilograms of cocaine in the incidents.
Officers x-rayed an unclaimed suitcase on Feb. 14, and found 10 blocks of cocaine hidden inside.
Then during a routine inspection on Feb. 21, border guards examined three suitcases from a flight from the Dominican Republic.
Officers found three children's backpacks inside. One hundred packages of cocaine were inside the backpacks.
Canada Border Services says the incidents are not related to each other.
The RCMP is investigating. No further details were released.
