"This person we deemed a person of interest. He was in the vicinity, he was riding a motorbike just prior to, and we feel that he has valuable information as to who committed this homicide," Sheldon said.
Several clients were working out at the club when the shooting took place. The owners of the facility were shocked by the morning shooting.
"It's a fantastic club; there has never been a problem. I don't even know what happened. I think this is a great family-oriented club and I'm just shocked to see this," the owner of the club told CTV News on Wednesday.
Club members described Pellicore as a jovial, outgoing man.
"The guys comes, does his work out; he jokes around. He was a friendly guy," said one club member on Wednesday.
