TORONTO - The Toronto Blue Jays activated Jesse Litsch from the disabled list Monday and optioned the right-hander to triple-A Las Vegas.
The 26-year-old was placed on the 15-day DL May 19 with a right shoulder impingement.
Litsch has made eight starts for Toronto this season, posting a 4-3 record with a 4.66 earned-run average.
The Pinellas Park, Fla., native is 0-2 with a 6.59 ERA in seven starts in the minors in 2011.
Litsch made six of those starts during his rehabilitation assignment pitching for single-A Lansing of the Midwest League, double-A New Hampshire of the Eastern League and Las Vegas of the Pacific Coast League.
