One person is dead and another is charged with impaired driving after an early morning car crash in Oakville on Sunday.
The car was heading westbound on Spears Road when the driver lost control and skidded into a hydro pole. The force of the impact caused the car to flip onto its roof.
The passenger was pronounced dead on the scene.
The 39-year-old driver of the car, Halton resident Lubomir Mikan, is facing numerous charges including impaired driving causing death.
Halton police are still investigating the crash and are asking for witnesses to contact them.
