Drake released the cover art for his new album “Views From the 6” on Sunday: a picture of him sitting atop the CN Tower. But if you’re thinking of doing the EdgeWalk to snap a selfie where Drake once sat, think again.
The CN Tower tweeted Monday that Toronto’s favourite rapper was photoshopped.

And then the memes began, from Drake sitting on the restaurant from the Seinfeld television show to Drake sitting with Donald Trump on top of a Trump hotel.

Even city councillor Norm Kelly tweeted his support after a fan photoshopped Drake and Kelly on the CN Tower together.

The album will be released Friday, and Drake already tweeted his tour dates with two Toronto shows this summer -- July 31 and August 1 -- at the Air Canada Centre.
To promote his album and pump up fans, Drake handed out shirts with the “Views” logo at a popup shop on Queen Street West on Sunday. Later that night he released the album art on Twitter.
Fans are already selling the swag online, with t-shirts “given by Drake” going for $100 on Kijiji.
