TORONTO - Toronto FC is looking for a new head of its soccer academy.
The MLS club says Stuart Neely has resigned as academy director.
Earl Cochrane, a former academy director whose current title is director of team operations, will run the academy on an interim basis.
Toronto FC coach Aron Winter says: "We are disappointed to learn of Stuart's resignation. He has contributed a great deal to our academy program."
Winter notes that six academy players joined the first team under Neely's time at the helm.
There was no word from TFC on Neely's future plans.
