Looking for a way to spend your long weekend? Here are some events taking place on Family Day weekend, including the international auto show and Valentine-themed food tours.

Don't forget: Valentine's Day is this Saturday and, for those who have it off, Family Day is on Monday.

Canadian International Auto Show

See the latest and greatest out of the auto industry at the country's largest automotive show. Event-goers will take in a variety of displays and exhibits, and have the chance to win prizes including free gas for a year.

Valentine's Day Food Tour

Why not take a food tour on the special day? Stroll through Kensington Market with your Valentine while tasting a variety of different foods.

Valentine's Day with orchids

Spend your Valentine's Day learning about orchids at the Southern Ontario Orchid Society's 35th Annual Orchid Show.

The Toronto Zoo's "For the Love of Family"

Bring your kids to the zoo this weekend and enjoy half-price admission for those under 12. The Toronto Zoo has planned a variety of activities for the weekend including a Valentine's card crafts workshop.

Hockey Hall of Fame

The Great Backyard Bird Count

Calling all bird lovers! High Park will be hosting a bird count on Family Day where guests will tally the amount of birds they see within the park. Park visitors are also invited to participate in a photo contest at the event.

Cost: Recommended $5 donation per person

8th Annual Family Sunday in the Beaches

Families can check out a life-size snow globe, lumberjack shows, live figure skating, ice carving, music, contests and more.

Cabbagetown Family Day Festival 2015

What's better than a street festival? Taking place on Family Day, this event will feature ice sculptures, horse and carriage rides, ice skating, carnival activities and live music.

When: Monday, Feb. 16, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Location: Parliament Street, between Gerrard and Wellesley Streets

Cost: Admission is free, and includes a pancake brunch

2015 GTA Home and Reno Show

Get inspired at this one-stop shop for all your home improvement and renovation needs.

When: Friday, Feb. 13 - Monday, Feb. 16

Location: The International Centre, Mississauga

Cost: Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for teens and seniors and free for children 12 and under

Toronto Maple Leafs Skate for Easter Seals Kids

Support Easter Seals Kids by going for a skate with Toronto Maple Leafs players and alumni. In order to participate in the skate you must raise at least $150 in pledges towards helping kids with physical disabilities.

Cost: $150 worth of fundraising in support of Easter Seals Ontario
