The 21-year-old victim of a shooting on Danforth Avenue has been identified as Abdiweli Mohamed Yusuf.
Yusuf was shot in the doorway of the Rotana Café on Danforth Avenue, just west of Coxwell Avenue, at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
He was rushed to St. Michael's Hospital in life-threatening condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police are still looking for a suspect or suspect, and ask any witnesses who have yet to speak to police to come forward. They're also checking with nearby homes and businesses for security camera footage that may have captured images of the incident or the suspects.
