A goat swapped green pastures for a big-city adventure in Toronto Thursday, on his way to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.

Turbo the Goat, one of dozens of animals that will be featured at the winter fair that runs from Nov. 6-15 at Exhibition Place, joined commuters on a Go train from Port Credit.

The five-year-old Nigerian Dwarf has been documenting his adventures on social media using the hashtag #RoyalGoat:

Turbo began the day posing for selfies with amused passengers while riding the rails. He then walked through the downtown, stopping in at the Toronto Stock Exchange for the opening of trading.

He also dropped by at City Hall, meeting Coun. Norm Kelly and being presented with an official City of Toronto pin from Coun. Mike Layton, and rode a streetcar to Exhibition Place.
