Police have charged a man after he was caught lying on the roof of a moving car, holding onto the vehicle’s roof-racks, on Highway 403 in Hamilton.
Police say around 6:15 a.m. on Sunday, a motorist driving on Highway 403 reported seeing a person lying on the rooftop of a moving car. OPP say they responded and successfully stopped the vehicle.
The 18-year-old rider was charged failing to occupy a position with a seatbelt. The driver of the vehicle, 19, was charged with dangerous driving.
No one was injured.
Police are urging the public to exercise good judgement and refrain from engaging in dangerous behaviour.
