Police are investigating a shooting that took place late Sunday night in west-end Toronto that left one man in hospital.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was shot in the arm and in the leg while he was waiting at a bus stop on the corner of Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue.

The incident happened at around 11:30 p.m. when a suspect shot at the victim from inside a vehicle as it was driving by the bus stop.

The victim's injuries were not considered life-threatening. He has been discharged from Toronto's Sunnybrook hospital and isn't co-operating with police.

A car with North Carolina license plates was discovered in the parking lot of a nearby Metro grocery store. Police are investigating the vehicle to see if it is connected to the shooting.
