TORONTO - Toronto FC parted ways with three more players Friday, continuing its roster revamp.

The Major Soccer League side opted not to pick up the 2011 options on 19-year-old Ethiopian forward Fuad Ibrahim, 19-year-old Gambian midfielder Amadou Sanyang and veteran defender Nick Garcia.

Garcia, 31, is eligible for the league's Dec. 8 re-entry draft.

"This is yet another necessary step as we look toward building our 2011 squad," Earl Cochrane, Toronto FC interim director of soccer, said in a statement Friday.

"With Nick we simply couldn't find a way to make him fit within our current budget situation."

Garcia made US$198,750 this season, fifth highest on the team.

Earlier this week, Toronto sent midfielder Joseph Nane to the Colorado Rapids for a third-round pick in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft.

Last week, the MLS team waived Gabe Gala, Martin Saric, Maxim Usanov, Raivis Hscanovics and Mista, and acquired midfielder Nathan Sturgis from the Vancouver Whitecaps for a first-round pick.

Toronto, 8-13-8, missed the playoffs for the fourth season in a row.
