TORONTO - Juergen Klinsmann says his goal is to use his experience and expertise to help put Toronto FC on the right track.
The former German star coach and player has been hired as a consultant to find the right road for the stagnant MLS club.
Klinsmann says having played in four countries and coached, he has a pretty good picture of what works in soccer.
Now he needs to understand how things work in Toronto.
Klinsmann, in his first meeting with the local media, says he plans to give his recommendations to Maple Leafs Sport and Entertainment before the start of next season.
The decisions will be up to team ownership.
