Toronto is one of the world's most attractive cities, according to a new study released Tuesday.
"Cities of Opportunity," produced annually by PwC, is based on information from a number of publicly available sources, including commercial data providers, national statistics organizations and multinational organizations.
Toronto placed fourth in this year's study, behind only London, New York and Singapore, and outpacing Paris, Berlin and Tokyo.
The study further ranks cities based on several categories including infrastructure, sustainability, and quality of life.
The only Canadian city in the study, Toronto placed second in transportation and infrastructure, as well as being the only city to receive full marks for quality of living. The Ontario capital also placed third in health, safety and security of its citizens, and tied with London for best overall in quality, efficiency and safety of its public transport.
There is room for improvement though, as Toronto was behind the pack in international tourists, number of international meetings, and flow of incoming and outgoing passengers.
