BRAMPTON, Ont. -- Provincial police have identified three people killed in a fiery crash last weekend on Highway 407 in Brampton, Ont.
OPP say the three were in a 1948 Chevrolet that developed a problem with a rear tire, causing the driver to lose control and veer into the path of a coach bus last Sunday afternoon.
Investigators say the bus collided with the car redirecting it to the ditch where it was consumed by fire, killing all three occupants.
No one on the bus was injured.
Police have identified the driver as 42-year-old Chad Harpley, and the passengers as David Harpley, 68, and 69-year-old Karen Harpley -- all of Freelton, Ont.
OPP say the collision investigation is ongoing and witnesses are being asked to contact police to speak with the investigating officer.
