Police are investigating after a suspected drunk driver crashed into a grocery store north of Toronto, early Monday morning.
York Regional Police said officers were called to 14th Avenue near McCowan Road south of Highway 407, in Markham, at about 1 a.m.
Police said they discovered a vehicle had crashed into the side of a building.
One person was taken to hospital as a precaution. No one was in the store at the time of the crash.
Police said the driver is believed to have been impaired at the time of the crash. An investigation continues.
