The Special Investigations Unit has terminated its probe after a man was shot in the leg by Toronto Police.
Two officers were involved in a late afternoon confrontation after responding to an armed robbery at a video store on Jane Street.
A 25-year-old man was struck after police opened fire outside the store.
He was taken to Humber River Regional Hospital and treated. A short time later, he was released into police custody.
Nine SIU investigators, who were sent to the scene to begin the investigation, confirmed the man wasn't seriously injured.
The SIU investigates circumstances involving police and civilians that result in serious injury, sexual assault or death.
