The brother of a man who was fatally shot at the end of a soccer game in Toronto’s west end Tuesday night has been charged with first-degree murder.
Clayton Wright, 42, was shot in the chest near a soccer pitch on Emmett Avenue, near Jane Street and Eglinton Avenue.
Police say the victim’s brother, 38-year-old Winston Wright, surrendered to police at 12 Division on Thursday.
He has been charged with first-degree murder and is scheduled to appear in a Finch Avenue West court on Friday morning.
