The intersection of Front and University will be closed for the weekend, and the TTC will be operating on its holiday schedule on Monday.

Major road closures

The intersection of Front Street and University Avenue will be closed to vehicles from Saturday at 1 a.m. to Tuesday at 5 a.m. for work on the underground pedestrian PATH. The work is part of the Union Station Revitalization project.

During the closure, traffic heading southbound on University will be diverted on Front Street, while one northbound lane will be open to traffic on York Street. Traffic heading east or west on Front will be diverted before reaching the intersection.

Lake Shore Boulevard closures

The westbound passing lane will be occupied from Rees Street to Van De Water Crescent by tunnel construction from 9 a.m. to midnight every day until the end of February 2015.

Until Oct. 15, one lane eastbound and one lane westbound will be occupied due to TTC Leslie Street Connection Track Project, 24 hours a day, until Wednesday.

Gardiner Expressway closures

The Gardiner off-ramp at Yonge, Bay and York Streets will be closed from 11:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. until Oct. 24 for overpass repairs.

TTC closures and diversions

The TTC will be running on holiday service on Thanksgiving Monday. Routes will operate on their Sunday schedules, but will start at approximately 6 a.m. Any routes that do not normally operate on Sundays will not be running.
