TORONTO - The Toronto Raptors will open their pre-season Oct. 6 against the Philadelphia 76ers in London, Ont.

The Raptors' exhibition schedule, released Thursday, features four games at Air Canada Centre, including a rematch with the 76ers on Oct. 7. Toronto will also host the Washington Wizards (Oct. 11), Houston Rockets (Oct. 15) and Boston Celtics (Oct. 18).

The pre-season opener against Philadelphia is considered a road game for the Raptors, since the John Labatt Centre in London is operated and managed by a subsidiary of the Sixers parent company, Comcast-Spectacor.

Toronto will also face the Minnesota Timberwolves twice -- once at the Target Center on Oct. 9, and once in Sioux Falls, N.D., on Oct. 23. The Raptors' other road exhibition game goes Oct. 14 against the Celtics in Hartford, Conn.

The Raptors open the regular season Oct. 28 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
