MILTON, Ont. - Police in a town west of Toronto seized more than 2,100 marijuana plants after executing a search warrant on Friday.
Police described the operation in Milton as a 'sophisticated' laboratory in the basement of a home that used a hydroelectric bypass to supply electricity to the hydroponic system.

More than 4.5 kilograms of dry marijuana ready for selling were also seized.

Charges are expected to be laid pending further investigation.
