Toronto police are looking to the public for assistance after a 28-year-old man was found dead at the scene of an east-end shooting Sunday.
Police responded to a shooting at a home on Military Trail, near Neilson and Ellesmere Roads, after 1 p.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, Jay Bennie Yabut was found in the home's garage suffering "obvious trauma."
The Toronto man was pronounced dead at the scene, and is scheduled for an autopsy Monday.
Police say, at the time of the incident, two men wearing dark clothing were spotted fleeing westbound from the Scarborough residence.
