Toronto police and the holdup squad are appealing to the public for information regarding the "Shy Bandit" who has allegedly robbed a number of banks in the downtown core.
Shawn Church, 40, is wanted in connection with at least 12 robberies that took place within the last three months in Toronto.
It's alleged that during the robberies Church approached tellers and noted that he was armed.
Police warn he is considered armed and dangerous and is not to be approached.
Church is wanted on two Canada-wide warrants for parole violation and robbery.
He is described as a white male weighing about 175 pounds, who is six-feet tall and usually wears glasses and a baseball cap.
