Ontario Provincial Police said they located the bodies of three boaters in Lake Erie on Monday after they were reported missing when their vessel crashed near a marina in Leamington, Ont. on the weekend.

Police were called at about 11 p.m. on Sunday night after a boat struck a wall barrier outside the Leamington Marina.

Officers, with the help of two civilian boats, headed out into the water where they found two women, both with non-life threatening injuries.

They were taken to a local hospital where they were treated for broken bones, cuts and bruises. The women told police that three others were missing.

The names of the three victims are being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
