Toronto police confirmed Thursday that the investigation into the deaths of a North York married couple has been deemed a murder-suicide.
Authorities were called to an apartment building located at 100 Graydon Hall Dr., near Don Mills Road and Highway 401, at about 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 25.
Officers found the body of a 30-year-old man near a dumpster outside the building.
A short time later, investigators discovered the body of his 27-year-old wife in a 14th-floor apartment.
Police believe the man killed his wife and then jumped to his own death.
At the request of both families, the names of the man and woman are being withheld.
Police said they had no reports of prior domestic problems involving the couple.
