OSHAWA, Ont. - A 59-year-old man in a motorized wheelchair died after a collision with an SUV in Oshawa, Ont., on Wednesday evening.
Police say Richard Peyton, of Oshawa, died in the collision -- on Ritson Road near Etna Avenue -- at about 6:30 p.m.
Peyton was treated at the scene but died of his injuries.
The driver of the SUV was not hurt.
Police want to hear from witnesses to the collision.
Investigators say road conditions were not a factor.
