PORT HOPE, Ont. - A 15-year-old boy faces numerous charges after police in Port Hope, Ont., pulled over a vehicle travelling more than 70 kilometres an hour over the speed limit.

Police say a pickup truck was clocked early Sunday going more than 120 kilometres per hour in a 50 zone.

When the truck was stopped in the community 50 kilometres east of Oshawa, officers found four 15-year-olds inside.

Police say the driver had taken the vehicle without his father's consent.

The boy faces charges of careless driving, driving without a licence and consuming alcohol under the age of 19.

He was turned over to his parents.
