The Ontario legislature resumes today with the minority Liberals trying to decide which programs to cut while also looking for some opposition votes to pass next month's budget.
The massive reform of government services recommended by economist Don Drummond last week will dominate debate until the provincial budget is completed.
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath says she'll hold the Liberals to their word that they want to work with the opposition parties.
Horwath says the time for games has passed, complaining the three parties couldn't even agree to establish legislative committees to work during the long winter recess.
The Liberals have already signalled they will consider Horwath's request to cancel a planned cut in corporate taxes to garner NDP support for the budget.
The Progressive Conservatives, meanwhile, are chomping at the bit to attack the government over a criminal investigation into the province's troubled air ambulance service.
The Tories also want the government to act immediately on the Drummond report, and claim the Liberals don't have the spine needed to make the tough decisions.
