Toronto police have arrested a suspect after a man was slashed in the face aboard a TTC bus early Sunday morning.
Police believe the stabbing happened during a robbery attempt.
The incident happened just after midnight near Symington Avenue and Dundas Street. A 46-year-old man was attacked with a knife, suffering injuries to both his face and hands.
When emergency crews arrived on the scene, the culprit had fled the area. However police arrested a suspect Sunday afternoon.
Mario Amador, 56, faces robbery and assault charges.
