The number of deaths related to COVID-19 in Ontario has reached 200.
More than 400,000 people in Ontario lost their jobs in March amid the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a report by Statistics Canada.

Under the current public health measures — which officials consider strong — between 11,000 and 22,000 Canadians could die from COVID-19 in the months ahead. However, federal modelling shows the death rate could skyrocket if efforts stopped.
