People with a fear of heights may want to skip the CN Tower's latest attraction which allows thrill-seekers to walk hands-free along the edge of the tower's main pod.
EdgeWalk, which opens to the public on Monday, will have height-cravers walking along the 1.5-metre-wide ledge with only safety harnesses and industrial-strength cables attaching them to the tower.
The experience costs $175 and lasts an hour and a half with the walk itself taking 20 to 30 minutes. Trained guides are on the ledge with the walkers and groups of six to eight will be allowed at a time.
The tour also includes a video and photos of the experience, a certificate of achievement and re-entry into the tower.
The attraction is already booked up for the first two days that it's open, as are the first two Saturdays.
Walkers wear suits that are strapped into harnesses and given breathalyzer tests before they're allowed to step out on the ledge.
Loose items, like shoes and glasses, are secured.
EdgeWalk will be open every year from May to October, weather permitting.
