A bus carrying more than two dozen seniors was totalled after it collided with a tractor-trailer early Wednesday morning.
The accident happened just before 4 a.m. on the northbound lanes of Highway 400 at Innisfill sideroad.
The seniors were returning from a trip to Cuba. One passenger suffered neck injuries and several others were shaken up.
The driver of the bus was also injured. He was taken to hospital with head and hand injuries.
The accident closed two lanes of the highway, slowing traffic in the area.
Diesel spilled from the vehicles as a result of the crash. Crews had to close the road for two hours to clean up the mess.
