Broken glass falls from downtown construction site

Police closed part of the intersection at Adelaide Street and Bay Street late Monday after shards of glass fell from a construction site and crashed into the pavement below.

A man wearing a hardhat told passersby to leave the area. No one was injured.

Police said the glass came from a window damaged by a moving crane.

It happened at the construction site of Trump International Hotel and Tower.
