TTC commuters and drivers in downtown Toronto were met with road closures early Sunday morning after a party bus crashed into a hydro pole near Fort York Boulevard and Spadina Avenue.
The bus was travelling southbound on Spadina Avenue at 12:30 a.m. Sunday when it lost control and struck a pole, causing hydro wires and TTC streetcar wires to fall.
The 510 Spadina streetcar resumed operations through the intersection again just before 2 p.m. Sunday, according to the TTC.
“The roads are still closed down. We have divisional units out there at traffic points,” acting Staff-Sgt. Sach Biring told CTV Toronto.
Police said no one was injured and no charges have been laid.
