A subway train pokes out from the ground on Yonge Street, a flipped over wrecked taxi cab sits on a roof and a crashed plane rests not too far ahead.
It sounds like the end of the world, but the Toronto scene was just part of an elaborate promotional backdrop for the upcoming Canadian release of the science-fiction film "Godzilla."
Excited movie fans and curious Torontonians snapped pictures of the apocalyptic scene, as a section of Yonge Street was shut down on Tuesday.
