A section of Yonge Street was blocked off after an industrial fire broke out at an abandoned factory in Richmond Hill Tuesday evening.
York Regional Police says the fire started just after 7 p.m. in the Yonge Street and Crosby Avenue area.
No injuries were reported but Sgt. Jim MacSween says the roof of the abandoned factory has become unstable.
Yonge Street at Levendale Road was temporarily closed as crews worked to extinguish the blaze.
