Truck bursts into flames on 401, police close lanes

Police closed off a section of the 401 near McCowan Rd. Tuesday night after a tractor-trailer caught on fire.

Winds blew dense smoke from the wreckage as fire crews struggled to put out the blaze.

There were no reports of injuries.

The vehicle, reportedly a Budweiser beer truck, crashed into at least two other cars and rolled over.

All westbound lanes near McCowan were shut down, along with ramps leading to the highway.
