Two men are in police custody, accused of dealing heavy drugs in the city's club district.

The men were arrested over the weekend, Toronto police said Monday.

The charges and arrests come after a four-week investigation into drugs in the entertainment district. The initiative, titled Project Deed, was led by 51 Division police officers. In June, 150 people were arrested as a result of the investigation.

Police executed raids at a downtown condo and a downtown hotel. They found a quantity of illicit drugs including ecstacy, Viagra rip-offs, marijuana, cocaine and crystal meth. About $8,000 in cash was also found during the raid.

The drugs are valued at $110,000, police say.

"This is another example of illicit drugs that may cause severe health issues leading up to, and, including death, destined for distribution with the downtown club scene," said Detective Sergeant Howie Page in a news release.

Authorities are not releasing the names of the suspects but said they are 39 and 40 years old. They also wouldn't say if any of the arrests are connected to any clubs.

However, police say they expect to make more arrests in the near future.
