VAUGHAN, Ont. - Police are looking for the vehicle that struck a 25-year-old man outside an entertainment complex early this morning in the Toronto suburb of Vaughan, Ont.
York police say they got a call at 1:30 a.m. that a man had been hit by an SUV following an argument between two groups in a parking lot on Interchange Way, near Highway 407.
Police are looking for a black, newer-model SUV they say sped away from the parking lot after striking the man.
Sgt. Laurie Perks says police are investigating whether the argument started in one of the nearby bars, which were closing around the time of the incident.
Perks says the man remains in hospital in serious condition.
