ORO-MEDONTE, Ont - A body found along a road in Oro-Medonte has been identified as that of a 21-year-old Markham, Ont., man.
Provincial police say they are treating the "suspicious death'' of Jonathan Chambers as a homicide.
Police say a man who lives in the area between Barrie and Orillia discovered the body next to the road on Wednesday.
A post-mortem examination was done Thursday at the Centre for Forensic Sciences in Toronto, but the details haven't been released.
Barrie OPP are seeking the public's assistance in tracking Chambers' whereabouts on the evening of March 6.
Two weeks ago, an unconscious man was found in a snowbank just up the road from where Chambers' body was found.
Three other murder victims have been found in the area in the last five years.
