York regional police say a young boy has died after being struck by a car driven by a relative.
Insp. Keith Merith says a family member was backing a vehicle out of the driveway.
Merith says the two-year-old was playing in the driveway and ran behind the vehicle and was struck.
Police are continuing to investigate the accident that occurred late Monday afternoon.
