BRUNSWICK HOUSE FIRST NATION, Ont. - Provincial police have confirmed that a man found on a northern Ontario reserve died after being stabbed.

Police received a 911 call Saturday night and discovered the body of 52-year-old Eli Taylor in his home on Brunswick House First Nation.

The autopsy was completed yesterday at Sudbury General Hospital.

The case is now being treated as a homicide.

Police also say they are closer to solving the crime.

Provincial police were called in to investigate by the Nishnawbe-Aski police force.
