A 23-year-old man has been charged with murder in Peel region's 15th homicide of the year.
Police were called to an apartment at 3045 Queen Frederica Dr., near Dixie Road and Dundas Street in Mississauga, at about 6:45 a.m. for a report of a man without vital signs.
When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from obvious signs of trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the man had been in a fight the night before.
Police are not releasing the name of the victim until his next-of-kin is notified.
Charged is Brady Maher of Mississauga. He is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday.
