The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. has made two prominent staff changes to usher in some "cultural change.''
Interim CEO Michelle DiEmanuele ordered a change in leadership in the wake of the lottery scandal, which involved retailers who made dishonest prize claims.
In an internal memo, DiEmanuele announced that Ingrid Peters, the vice-president of legal and compliance, left OLG on Tuesday.
OLG spokeswoman Teresa Roncon would not confirm reports that Peters was fired.
Walter Fioravanti, vice-president of human resources, was also let go.
DiEmanuele, the deputy minister of government services, joined the OLG on a four-month term starting April 16.
She took over for Duncan Brown, who stepped down as CEO in late March after the lottery scandal broke.
Roncon would not comment on the staff changes other than to say, "Both of these positions are key leadership roles for cultural change.''
