Peel Regional Police are investigating two incidents, which may be related, after a man walked into a police station making a startling admission.

The unidentified man walked into the Peel Police 22 Division office at 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon, saying he had just killed his wife.

Officers went to a home on Bloomingdale Drive in Brampton about an hour later. Police reportedly found a woman's body at the location.

Around 6 p.m. police forensic investigators removed a body from a minivan in the home's driveway. The body was placed in the home's garage.

Police also went to a home on Ashprior Avenue in the McLaughlan Road and Eglinton area of Mississauga. Officers cordoned off the home with police tape.

The dwelling was searched after police noticed signs of forced entry. It is not known what, if anything, they found inside.

People in the area had no idea what was going on.

"Something serious happened next door," a neighbour told CTV News.

How both incidents are connected, if at all, is not known.
