Police are searching for suspects after a round of bullets was fired into a bedroom window on the ground floor of a Mississauga townhouse complex on Tuesday morning.
A townhouse resident called police around 1 a.m. reporting that several gunshots had been heard at the 7475 Goreway Drive complex near Derry Road.
Police arrived two minutes later to find a shattered window and several bullet casings on scene.
"Police located several casings in the vicinity of the townhouse and also found several rounds inside the residence lodged into the wall," said Const. George Tudos of Peel Police.
Tudos said the casings suggest a handgun might have been used.
There are no suspects yet and no arrests have been made.
