Peel Regional Police are probing a fatal accident at a Brampton transit station that left one woman dead.
Police say the woman was in the bus loop at the Shoppers World Transit Centre, located at Steeles Avenue and Highway 10, when she was struck and killed by a vehicle - possibly a Brampton transit bus.
The accident happened at around 6:30 a.m., before the break of daylight.
Media reports suggest the woman is in her teens though police have yet to confirm the victim's age or identity.
A reconstruction team is at the scene, probing the circumstances of the crash.
